Going White!
Neo South Auckland is going WHITE, white as snow that is as winter returns to the coastal city blanketing everything from the Ranges right down to sea level in the white fluufy stuff!
While I missed getting a video the first time Winter came around for the City I certainly was not going to miss it when it came around again.
So, here is a shaky cam drone video of Neo South Auckland in all its white as snow splendour!
For those thinking YAY a White Christmas will have their hopes and dreams dashed. Mainly because Winter for this map is June to August the same as the Southern Hemisphere which is where this map (Sweeping Plains based on the New Zealand – Canterbury Plains) is from. Christmas is a blamy 27C or more so crack out the swimwear and BBQ everyone!
And no the City does not get jammed up with a bit of snow with roads and transit lines kept clear, and the powergrid operating at full efficiency (once I cleared three small bottlenecks up from three substations). So you can still go to work or school AND keep warm! Great aye!
