Time for a new City, well one of two new cities for 2026.
Introducing Waikato using the Elizabeth County map from the Paradox workshops. Waikato will be one of two new cities for 2026 and Cities Skylines. The second city will be Neo Manukau Ranges that will use the same map (but updated) as the now retired Manukau Ranges.
In part one we take a very brief introduction into the map that will host Waikato city and see what it has going for it geography and infrastructure wise. We then turn the first sod by laying down the first set of infrastructure: power, water, sewerage, a central rail station, and some bridges.
Part two we will cover the founding infrastructure and first set of zones to get Waikato going.
