Transit by Design: Designing Transit That Works | Waikato Part 3.1 | #citiesskylines2

Time for a reading on Transit by Design before implementing said transit into Waikato

The Spatial Plan is written, the infrastructure is in place, I finally laid down the Zones, and we are ready to let the first cims and businesses move in. BUT FIRST we have one more of the puzzle to complete. I need to add in the transit lines and bike parks so cims don’t always need a car while also adding in some last minute parks for recreation.

In this video I also do a reading from the newly released book by Transport Planner, Nicolas Reid: Transit By Design. A Practical Guide to planning public transport networks that works! So can Transit by Design work for Cities Skylines 2 cities? I suppose we will find out.

*My review and reading of Transit By Design is entirely unsolicited. That is I am doing this out of my convolution aka the author did not and is not seeking endorsement. The reading is from page 222 covering whether to choose road or rail based transit.
